Artificial Intelligence – Risks and Promise
The business community is starting to realize how far computer engineers have come in producing software that is able to mimic human creativity. Modern artificial intelligence can be used to create chatbots, summarize documents, write letters, draft documents, create images, compose music, write code, and do a number of other creative things that previously required a human being. Many businesses are rushing to take advantage of this new technology. Large tech companies from Open AI to Microsoft and Google are all quickly developing more tools for sale.
If your business is interested in using this new technology, however, it should be aware of the legal challenges. The developers of this technology are being sued by the human creators it threatens to replace, and those lawsuits raise interesting questions about society and policy that have not yet been answered. As an end user of this technology, your business should be aware of the risks and limitations it has. Reckless use of artificial intelligence could be as bad or worse than hiring an employee that is unhinged at best and actively working to get your company in trouble at worst.
Please join Underhill Law, P.C. for a free workshop to discuss the current legal state of generative artificial intelligence systems. We will cover an overview of how the technology functions, the legal questions concerning whether its current form is legal in the first place, and the specific risks and limitations you will encounter in using the technology in your business.
Attend this Workshop if Your Business:
● Is interested in using generative artificial intelligence (or suspects that its workforce may already be using it)
● Creates content, such as advertising materials, on a regular basis.
