Born and raised in Colorado, Cheryl attended the University of Northern Colorado before beginning her career in healthcare, working in admissions for assisted living and long-term care facilities. She later became a small business owner, gaining valuable experience in operations and client service. Driven by a long-standing interest in the law, Cheryl earned an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Aurora, fulfilling her ambition to build a career in the legal field. Her life and career experiences have sharpened her empathy, honed her organizational skills, and equipped her to navigate complex challenges with confidence—qualities that make her an outstanding and compassionate paralegal.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys gardening, birdwatching, and spending time in nature. One of her proudest accomplishments is having lived off-grid in the Rocky Mountains for eight years—an experience that taught her resilience, resourcefulness, and self-sufficiency, qualities that continue to shape her approach to both life and work.
