The Moriarty Underhill LLC. LegalPlan is designed to help the closely held company who wants legal support on common issues without the cost of full-time in-house counsel. The LegalPlan is a one-year commitment by your organization and the firm.
You pay a fixed monthly price by credit card or ACH during the year. In return, the firm holds itself available to perform legal services within the LegalPlan Edition you select up to a maximum number of hours per month also defined by that Plan. The firm will work with you on balancing the workload month to month, establishing your priorities and the deadlines to fairly deliver the work you need throughout the year. For work outside of the LegalPlan, LegalPlan clients receive a discounted hourly fee for other work.

LEGALPLAN LIMITATIONS
Your LegalPlan flat fee covers the specific types of work described in your LegalPlan engagement contract up to a monthly hourly limit. That work, and the hourly limit, can vary depending on your agreement. For example, litigation or other contested proceedings are usually not covered by LegalPlan. Work outside of your LegalPlan is charged at our hourly rates less a 10% discount. For such hourly rate work, please be advised that the total price of the services cannot reasonably be known in advance due to factors that determine the total price that are beyond our control. These include, among other things: (1) the attorney who is selected to work on your matter; (2) the time spent working for you; and (3) the expenses that might be incurred. Our attorneys and paralegals bill at different hourly rates depending on their level of experience. Hourly fees for attorneys range from $260 to $475.00 per hour (before LegalPlan discount). You will be billed for the actual time spent on your matter. The time and expenses spent on your case are not possible to predict in advance because they vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, the complexity of your case, the volume of documents to draft or review, the amount of consultation you desire or require, the actions of adverse parties, courts, and others, and other factors. We do not charge any additional administrative or processing fees.
