Big Changes to Non-Compete Agreements

Many businesses do, but under new Colorado Law effective August of 2022, these kind of agreements are subject to additional scrutiny. If you do not bring your business into compliance with the new law, you could be placing your confidential business information in danger and even be subject to criminal liability!

At this workshop, we provided general legal information concerning what kind of agreements are covered by the new statute, things to consider when justifying such agreements to protect a trade secret, how to make such agreements reasonable, and other practical considerations.
