Shannon Salcedo wears two hats at Underhill Law, P.C. She is the firm’s litigation paralegal. In that capacity she ensures that the firm’s lawsuits proceed to trial or settlement on schedule by computing and tracking the pre-trial and trial deadlines established by the courts’ procedural rules; arranges witness interviews; prepares initial drafts of discovery requests and responses, motions and proposed orders for attorney review; schedules mediations and settlement conferences; and accomplishes many other tasks necessary to bring a case to trial or settlement for a client and to collect the judgment.
Shannon also serves at the firm’s Director of Marketing and Client Relations. This involves coordinating with prospective clients, staffing the firm’s workshop series and other programs, and attending meetings of the Colorado Roofing Association and other organizations on behalf of the firm.
Shannon earned her paralegal certificate at Kaplan College in 2009 and a degree in Criminal Justice from Western New Mexico University in 2008. Prior to joining Underhill Law, P.C., she was employed at a variety of law firms in the Denver metro area and in New Mexico. Shannon is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and is currently working towards her Advanced Certified Paralegal credential through NALA.
